Hi, I’m Shaun Madden and I’m a Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Dover, Deal and Sandwich, in Kent, and I photograph weddings all over Kent. I have been a photographer for over ten years, producing stunning images in a fresh, contemporary style and look forward to being the photographer you’re happy to share your big day with. My prices for weddings start a very competitive £500 for approximately four to five hours coverage. Additional hours or venues may cost more and should you require a quote have a look at what information I require on the contact page. I still have a few available wedding photography dates for summer 2010 and weekday weddings can usually be catered for a short notice.
The Service You Can Expect From Shaun Madden, Dover, Deal & Sandwich Wedding Photographer...
- I will meet with you prior to the wedding to talk through your plans of the day and any special requirements you may have.
- I will provide you with an up front quote with no hidden costs (Usually £500 for 4/5 hours without album).
- I will assist you in choosing and designing your album. NOTE: Wedding Photography Albums are an optional extra, see my albums page for more information.
- I will be fully contactable should you have any questions before the wedding.
- I will attend promptly on the day at all the locations as required throughout the whole of Kent.
- I will only photograph your wedding on the day and will not be arriving last minute or rushing off to another wedding.
- I will work as inobtrusively as possible to ensure that your wedding revolves around you and not the photographer.
- I will be using modern digital cameras & equipment and have back-ups of everything.
- I will provide you with a contract written in plain English.
- I am fully insured as a Professional Photographer, including public liability.
After The Wedding...
- After the wedding I will ensure your images are immediately backed-up.
- I will spend about twelve hours processing your images using the latest computer software.
- I will display some of your images on my website within three to five days of the wedding.
- I will provide you with a DVD with two sets of images, one for online viewing such as uploading to Facebook™ and one for printing in any size upto A2.
- I will provide you with a presentaion DVD that can be played in most modern DVD players.
- You will receive your DVD's within seven to fourteen days.
- I will help you with the choices and design of your wedding photography album should you require this as an option.
- You will have full copyright of your images, therefore you can get as many prints done as you like to share with family and friends.
What I Require From You...
- The date and time of your wedding in Kent*.
- All the venues where you would like me to attend on the day including bride's home, ceremony venue, reception venue, other photoshoot locations.
- How many hours you require me to attend (usually four to five hours and that can include mock cake cutting & first dance in necessary)
- A deposit of £200 to reserve the day.
- The balance due one week before your wedding day.

A Note about Wedding Packages
You may have noticed that I do not offer a choice of packages for my wedding photography, and this is because, digital photography has become mainstream and there is no longer a need to charge by the number of photographs sold, re-prints can be done in local supermarkets for less than a pound and I think it scandalous to charge hundreds of pounds extra for a few more prints in a slightly larger album and have wonderful package names such as Gold, Silver, Bronze & Crystal where you feel like your wedding photography is a compromise because you can't afford the Gold package! My charge is for my time both at the wedding and in post-processing and I aim to do this to the highest possible standard using the best possible cameras and lenses and my skills and experience as a professional photographer.
* Weddings outside of Kent will cost more, and I will be happy to provide a quotation on request.
