Shaun Madden is a Wedding Photographer covering Dover, Sandwich, Deal, Ramsgate, Broadstairs & Margate in Kent, and photographs weddings all over East Kent. I have been a photographer for over ten years, producing stunning images in a fresh, contemporary style and look forward to being the photographer you’re happy to share your big day with. Although I am skilled with using most cameras from old to new, I use the latest digital cameras and high quality lenses for my work. Wedding Photography is not a weekend job, it is my one and only profession.
The evolving art of Contemporary Wedding Photography now includes both posed and candid photography. Traditional posed photography can leave most of your guests standing around for over an hour waiting to be included in just one or two photographs. Whilst the wedding day should rightly be about the bride and groom, having bored guests will ultimately affect you, so I believe a careful mix of posed and candid photography is essential to the smooth running of your wedding day. One of the wonderful benefits of candid photography is when showing the Bride and Groom the photographs of their Wedding Day, is revealing to them just how much they actually missed on the day!

My Professional Wedding Photography is Extremely Inexpensive, here's why:
I do not run a studio so my overheads are low and you do not pay for the studio to sit empty while I am at your Wedding
• Photography is my hobby as well as my profession so I already have high quality cameras, mac computers, software and most of the extras required
• I operate in the local area to keep overheads down
• I do not pay to advertise, other than with Google and get most bookings through 'word of mouth' or online searches
• I do not have an assistant and do everything 'in–house'
• I shoot for three hours which is enough time to get all the important shots
• The only shots that fall outside of my Wedding Photography package are the Bride getting ready, the Speeches, the First Dance and the Cutting of the Cake (We can mock these) • But why pay twice as much for simple shots that your friends & family will take for free? And we can mock up what you require • Pre-wedding consultations at my home or yours • Correspondence will be by letter, email and phone • Presentation disk will be posted to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery within 7 Days

Wedding venues in Dover that I have photographed include, Ramada Hotel Dover, The Marquis at Alkham, formerly the Marquis of Granby public house but now a high class venue in the beautiful Alkham Valley. Also weddings at Dover Castle provide fantastic photography opportunities. I have photographed at Dover Town Hall and afterwards at Kearsney Abbey or Russell Gardens or Kearsney Manor for the formal photographs of the Bride & Broom. Regardless of your venue there are plenty of choices in Dover for beautiful wedding photography. A walk along the old town wall allows the Bride & Groom to spend a little time away from the crowd and is an ideal photography opportunity. The town of Sandwich in Kent is very popular with tourists for its old overhanging buildings and narrow streets taking you back in time.
