Shaun Madden is a Wedding Photographer and Portrait Photographer based in Dover, Sandwich and Deal, in Kent, and photograph weddings and portraits all over Kent and occasionally further afield. I also photograph children and family portraits, both on location and at your home using professional mobile battery powered studio lighting. I have been a photographer for over ten years, producing stunning images in a fresh, contemporary style and look forward to being the photographer you’re happy to share your big day with. Although I am skilled with using most cameras from old to new, I use the latest digital slr cameras and high quality lenses for my work.
The evolving art of contemporary wedding photography now includes both posed and candid photography. Traditional posed photography can leave most of your guests standing around for over an hour waiting to be included in just one or two photographs. Whilst the wedding day should rightly be about the bride and groom, having bored guests will ultimately affect you, so I believe a careful mix of posed and candid photography is essential to the smooth running of your wedding day. One of the wonderful benefits of candid photography is when showing the Bride and Groom the photographs of their Wedding Day, is revealing to them just how much they actually missed on the day!
